Santa's Hideaway Hollow

A magical place where the spirit of Christmas lasts forever.

Donors & Volunteers

THANK YOU for your interest in supporting

Santa’s Hide-A-Way Hollow.

Community Service Hours Are Available for Students.

Do you know that most colleges require community hours for applicants? Being an Elf will help fulfill those requirements. Help Santa by wrapping presents, visiting Hospitals, making home visits to children, singing Christmas carols, and more. Many of our elves say that the experiences they’ve had while being an Elf has shaped their career paths when they went to college.

We also have plenty of work for organizations like 4-H, Football teams, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Companies looking to volunteer while working as a team. From painting, digging flowerbeds, to building, there is something for everyone to help us with.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our current Sponsors and Companies that have helped to donate time and funds to Santa’s Hide-A-Way Hollow:

Hughie’s Audio Visual contributed to the Pavilion where families can barbeque or enjoy the sheltered outdoors.

Santa’s Wish List includes:

North Pole Chapel – A place where family members can retreat during a visit at The Hollow, and additionally, to satisfy numerous requests from families to hold services annually after their visit to The Hollow. Status: Planned

Santa & Mrs. Claus House – A place where Santa and his elves will live when they are not at the North Pole Village. Santa’s house will allow the room for one family to have a private visit with Santa. A player piano will play Christmas music and create sing-a-longs. A 50’s kitchen will be set-up to serve pizzas, a soda fountain, milk shakes and root beer floats for a group. Santa’s house will also have handicapped accessible bathroom facilities. Status: Planned

Teddy Bear School House – An Elf takes the child and picks out a teddy bear to take to school. Each teddy bear is taught to always be soft and cuddly, learns how to be at a tea party and not get bored, how to be in a closet and not get dusty, and how to be under a bed but not afraid. Once the teddy bear masters these skills, they receive a “Teddy-Ploma”, and the teddy bear goes home with the child. Status: Planned

Town Hall – The child becomes the Honorary Mayor for the Day. They receive a key to the city, including admission into all the buildings at The Hollow and a visit with Santa. There is a second level…without a floor…but there are bookshelves that house 500 red binders and 50 black ones. This is THE LIST that all children dream of seeing. Status: Planned

North Pole Helipad – Santa has strong relationships with the medical helicopters that work with local Hospitals. A helipad at The Hollow would allow them to land safely in order to accommodate any medical emergency or to simply visit to ensure the health of all patient visitors. Status: Completed

What is "The Hollow"?

Santa's Hide-A-Way Hollow, described as "A Magical Place Tucked in Your Heart Where the Spirit of Christmas Lasts Forever", began as a dream, and was completed in 1992. What started out as a desire to help terminally ill children and their families, has resulted in a Christmas retreat from the reality of their illness, creating wonderful memories instead. The Mission of Santa's Hide-A-Way is to bring families together during a very difficult time in their lives. It provides a perfect setting for a visit with Santa Claus, no matter the date.
